George Noory interviewed Dr. Apsley in a special 1 hour presentation on Coast to Coast AM, from 10PM to 11PM PST, covering updates of the real facts, threats and solutions to underlying the Fukushima incident. Dr. Apsley discussed with George Noory how this recent nuclear accident was following a similar historical pattern that occurred 25 years ago. Specifically, in April 1986 the Chernobyl catastrophe was linked to over 16,000 U.S. deaths just during the first 4 months post accident! The probability that the these U.S. excessive deaths occurred due to random chance was less than 1 in 1 Billion! The show especially addressed why North America has been hit so hard and so fast in comparison to Japan? In what is a first wave of injury of many to come Dr. Apsley explained that due to "The Petkau Effect" and the "by stander effect" lesser amounts received mean more damage to our immune systems.
